Egyptian Market Stability with Slight Gold Price Increase
The Egyptian markets witnessed a slight increase in gold prices today. The price of 18-karat gold rose to 5,807 EGP per gram, an increase of 9 EGP from yesterday. Meanwhile, 21-karat gold reached 6,775 EGP per gram, up by 10 EGP. The 24-karat gold was priced at 7,743 EGP per gram, marking an 11 EGP increase. These minor increases occur amid a relatively stable market and low volatility, with technical analysis indicators maintaining their balance without any sharp changes.
On the other hand, foreign currency prices in Egypt remained stable, with the USD showing no change, holding steady at 52.59 EGP for selling and 51.85 EGP for buying. Other currencies, such as the euro and the British pound, also remained stable at 61.3 EGP and 70.72 EGP, respectively.
Regarding silver, the price per gram stood at 132.00 EGP, reflecting stability in the local precious metals market. These figures indicate a general stability in the Egyptian markets, with noticeable balance in supply and demand amid changing global economic conditions.
