Gold and Currency Prices Fluctuate in Egyptian Market
Egyptian markets today experienced fluctuations in gold and currency prices. According to Bekam data, the price of 21k gold reached EGP 5875 per gram, while 24k gold was priced at EGP 6714.25 per gram, and 18k gold at EGP 5035.75 per gram.
On the international level, the ounce of 21k gold was priced at USD 3616.58, while 24k gold reached USD 4133.21 per ounce, and 18k gold was priced at USD 3099.95 per ounce.
Regarding currency rates, the buying rate of the US dollar was EGP 50.17, while the selling rate was EGP 50.88. The Saudi Riyal had a buying rate of EGP 13.38 and a selling rate of EGP 13.57, whereas the Kuwaiti Dinar was bought at EGP 161.76 and sold at EGP 164.04.
The Euro recorded a buying rate of EGP 57.1 and a selling rate of EGP 57.91, while the British Pound reached a buying rate of EGP 66.68 and a selling rate of EGP 67.62. These figures reflect the market volatility in Egypt influenced by global and local economic changes.
