Gold and Dollar Prices Decline in Egyptian Market
The Egyptian markets today witnessed a notable decline in gold and currency prices. The price of 24K gold fell to 7,160 EGP per gram, recording a 1.18% decrease compared to yesterday, equivalent to 86 EGP. Similarly, the 21K gold price dropped to 6,265 EGP per gram with the same percentage decrease, equivalent to 75 EGP. The 18K gold price decreased to 5,370 EGP per gram, marking a decline of 64 EGP.
Regarding currency prices, the US dollar saw a 0.23% decline with a buying price of 51.56 EGP and a selling price of 52.29 EGP. This decline comes amid a relative stability in the technical indicators for gold, where the technical analysis for 21K gold shows a balanced market with normal volatility at 0.6%.
As for other currencies, the Saudi Riyal recorded a buying price of 13.75 EGP and a selling price of 13.94 EGP, while the Kuwaiti Dinar recorded a buying price of 167.22 EGP and a selling price of 169.58 EGP. Other foreign currencies such as the Euro and the British Pound showed relative stability.
