Gold and Dollar Prices Stable in Egyptian Markets
The Egyptian markets witnessed notable stability in gold and dollar prices today, according to Bakam data. The price of 21-karat gold maintained its stability at EGP 6,770 per gram, with a slight increase of 0.07% compared to yesterday, or about EGP 5. The price of 24-karat gold also remained stable at EGP 7,737 per gram, with a similar increase of 0.07%, while 18-karat gold was priced at EGP 5,803 per gram.
As for the US dollar, it showed near stability with a buying price of EGP 51.86 and a selling price of EGP 52.59, achieving a slight increase of 0.02% compared to yesterday.
Technical analysis for 21-karat gold indicates a balanced market with very low volatility, reflecting market calmness during this period. Bakam data shows that fluctuations in gold and dollar prices remain within narrow ranges, providing a degree of stability for investors in the Egyptian market.
Regarding other currency prices, the British pound recorded EGP 70.68 for sale, the euro EGP 61.32, the Saudi riyal EGP 14.02, and the Kuwaiti dinar EGP 170.03, indicating steadiness in foreign currency prices against the Egyptian pound at present.
