Gold Prices Drop in Egypt, Dollar Rises Slightly
Gold prices in Egyptian markets witnessed a noticeable decline today, with 18-carat gold dropping to 5,323 EGP per gram, representing a 1.11% decrease or about 60 EGP compared to yesterday. Similarly, 21-carat gold fell to 6,210 EGP per gram, marking the same percentage decrease with a value of 70 EGP. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold decreased to 7,097 EGP per gram, down by 80 EGP from the previous day.
At the same time, the US dollar saw a slight rise of 0.08%, with the selling price at 51.74 EGP and the buying price at 51.02 EGP, according to Bekam's monitoring data.
Market analysis indicates that 21-carat gold currently registers a price of 6,210 EGP, with balanced market indicators, as the moving averages for the last seven and fourteen days are close to each other, indicating normal market volatility.
As for other currencies, the Saudi Riyal recorded a range of 13.6 EGP for buying and 13.8 EGP for selling, while the Kuwaiti Dinar was priced at 165.67 EGP for buying and 168.0 EGP for selling. The Euro was priced at 59.17 EGP for buying and 60.0 EGP for selling.
These price changes occur amid global market fluctuations and their impacts on the Egyptian economy, where traders and investors closely monitor these movements to determine their upcoming investment strategies.
