Gold prices in Egypt drop by 0.81% today
Gold prices in Egypt have seen a notable decline of 0.81% today compared to the previous day, according to Bkam data. The price of 21K gold has fallen to EGP 6,735 per gram, marking a decrease of EGP 55 from the day before.
Similarly, the 24K gold price has dropped to EGP 7,697 per gram, down by EGP 63. Meanwhile, 18K gold has decreased to EGP 5,773 per gram, with a reduction of EGP 47.
On a technical level, the technical analysis for 21K gold indicates a balanced market with low volatility, as the seven-day moving average (MA7) stands at EGP 6,736, close to the fourteen-day moving average (MA14) of EGP 6,753.
In related news, the USD exchange rate has remained stable today at EGP 52.59 for selling and EGP 51.86 for buying, with a minor change of 0.04%. The stability of the USD is a significant factor in supporting balance in the gold market.
