Gold Prices in Egypt See Slight Increase Amid Market Volatility
Gold prices in Egypt experienced a slight increase today, with 21-karat gold reaching 6,815 EGP per gram, marking a 0.29% rise or 19 EGP compared to yesterday, according to Bakam data. The 18-karat gold rose to 5,842 EGP per gram, up by 17 EGP, while the 24-karat gold recorded a price of 7,788 EGP per gram, increasing by 22 EGP.
This increase comes amid a decline in the US dollar, which recorded 52.63 EGP for sale, down by 1.29%. These figures indicate market volatility, as technical indicators for 21K gold show a short-term bearish signal with a high volatility rate of 12.4%.
Market analysis suggests that prices are experiencing fluctuations, reflecting the impact of global and local economic factors on the yellow metal's price in Egypt. Investors are advised to monitor daily movements to avoid risks associated with price volatility.
