Gold prices in Egypt have seen a notable increase as the week begins on August 7, 2026, according to Bakam data. The 21k gold, which is the most popular in the Egyptian market, recorded a price of 5970 EGP per gram.
Meanwhile, 24k gold, considered the purest, reached 6822.75 EGP per gram, reflecting a rise compared to previous days. Internationally, its ounce price was 4262.22 USD.
As for 18k gold, its price reached 5117.25 EGP per gram, with an international ounce price of 3196.79 USD.
