Gold Prices Stable, Dollar Rises in Egyptian Markets
In the latest developments in the Egyptian financial markets, "Bkam" data shows stability in gold prices today, August 14, 2026. The price of 24K gold remains stable at 7,132 EGP per gram, while 21K gold is steady at 6,240 EGP per gram, and 18K gold at 5,348 EGP per gram.
On the other hand, the market witnessed a slight increase in the exchange rate of the US dollar, rising by 0.12% from yesterday to reach 50.62 EGP for selling and 49.92 EGP for buying. This increase is part of the natural market movements experienced by currencies periodically.
As for silver, the price per gram remains stable at 103.00 EGP, reflecting a general stability in precious metal prices.
Concerning other currencies, the Saudi Riyal recorded 13.31 EGP for buying and 13.5 EGP for selling, while the Kuwaiti Dinar was priced at 161.81 EGP for buying and 164.09 EGP for selling. The British Pound and Euro continue to show slight fluctuations with relative stability in their prices.
