Gold Prices Stable in Egypt as Dollar Declines Slightly
The Egyptian markets witnessed notable stability in gold prices today, with 24-karat gold maintaining its price at 7,114 EGP per gram. Meanwhile, 21-karat gold stood at 6,225 EGP per gram, and 18-karat gold remained stable at 5,336 EGP per gram. This stability in prices coincides with the steadiness of international ounce prices, where 21-karat gold recorded approximately 3,762.55 USD.
On another note, the US dollar experienced a slight decline of 0.46%, reaching 51.78 EGP for sale, while the purchase price was 51.06 EGP. This drop reflects global market fluctuations and their impact on the Egyptian economy.
Additionally, Arab currencies showed relative stability, with the Saudi Riyal priced at 13.81 EGP for sale and the UAE Dirham at 14.1 EGP. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Dinar was priced at 167.81 EGP, and the British Pound at 68.62 EGP.
Technical indicators for 21-karat gold suggest a balanced market with a natural fluctuation of 0.6%, reflecting short-term market stability. This balance enhances investor confidence in the Egyptian market amid global economic volatility.
