Gold Prices Steady in Egypt Amid Currency Fluctuations
The Egyptian gold market witnessed a noticeable stability in gold prices today, with gold 21K recorded at approximately 6182.46 EGP per gram, while gold 24K stood around 7065.67 EGP. The gold 18K was priced at 5299.25 EGP per gram, according to Bakam data.
Internationally, the gold ounce remained stable at 4195.6 USD, reflecting relative stability in global gold markets.
Regarding currency rates, the US dollar recorded a buying price of 52.01 EGP and a selling price of 52.75 EGP in the Egyptian market. The Saudi Riyal was priced at 13.87 EGP for buying and 14.07 EGP for selling. The UAE Dirham marked a buying price of 14.16 EGP and a selling price of 14.36 EGP.
The Kuwaiti Dinar remained stable at 167.46 EGP for buying and 169.82 EGP for selling, while the Jordanian Dinar was recorded at 73.36 EGP for buying and 74.4 EGP for selling. The British Pound was priced at 68.82 EGP for buying and 69.79 EGP for selling. Meanwhile, the Euro stood at 58.29 EGP for buying and 59.11 EGP for selling.
These movements come amid a relatively stable Egyptian market, with expectations of further fluctuations considering the global economic conditions.
