Relative Stability in Egypt's Foreign Currency Rates
Foreign currency rates in Egypt showed relative stability today, according to Bekam data. The USD, the most traded currency, was recorded at a buying price of EGP 52.01 and a selling price of EGP 52.75.
The Saudi Riyal was traded at a buying price of EGP 13.87 and a selling price of EGP 14.07, while the Qatari Riyal was at a buying price of EGP 14.29 and a selling price of EGP 14.49.
The Kuwaiti Dinar, the strongest Arab currency, was recorded at a buying price of EGP 167.46 and a selling price of EGP 169.82, while the Jordanian Dinar was at a buying price of EGP 73.36 and a selling price of EGP 74.4.
The British Pound stood at a buying price of EGP 68.82 and a selling price of EGP 69.79, while the Euro was recorded at a buying price of EGP 58.29 and a selling price of EGP 59.11. Finally, the UAE Dirham was traded at a buying price of EGP 14.16 and a selling price of EGP 14.36.
This stability comes amid expectations of potential future fluctuations due to global economic changes and their impact on the Egyptian market.
