Slight Increase in Gold Prices in Egypt Today
Gold prices in Egypt have seen a slight increase of 0.15% for various karats today, according to data from Bekam. The price for 18k gold registered at 5,807 EGP per gram, marking an increase of 9 EGP compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, 21k gold rose by 10 EGP to reach 6,775 EGP per gram.
As for 24k gold, its price jumped by 11 EGP, reaching 7,743 EGP per gram. This modest rise comes as the US dollar prices remain stable at 52.59 EGP for selling, with no significant market movement.
Technical analysis indicates a balanced market with very low volatility. The moving averages over 7 and 14 days are close around the 6,775 EGP mark for 21k, suggesting a relatively calm market.
These increases occur amidst a stable Egyptian market backdrop, possibly impacting investor decisions to buy gold as a safe haven or for long-term investment.
