Gold prices in the Egyptian markets experienced a slight increase today, with the price of 18-carat gold rising to 5,807 EGP per gram, up by 9 EGP. The 21-carat gold registered at 6,775 EGP per gram, increasing by 10 EGP, and the 24-carat gold rose to 7,743 EGP per gram, up by 11 EGP.
According to "Bakam" data, this slight rise in gold prices comes amidst a balanced and calm market, with technical analysis indicators for 21-carat gold showing little change and stable moving averages.
In terms of currencies, the US dollar remained stable at 52.59 EGP for selling and 51.85 EGP for buying, indicating stability in local market transactions. Meanwhile, the British pound stood at 70.72 EGP for selling and 69.73 EGP for buying, and the euro was priced at 61.3 EGP for selling and 60.45 EGP for buying.
These movements come as investors monitor international market developments and global ounce prices, with the ounce price for 21-carat gold at approximately 4035.34 USD. The Egyptian markets continue to adapt to these changes, focusing on price stability amid low volatility.
