Stability in Forex Rates in Egypt with Slight USD Rise

The foreign exchange rates in Egypt showed noteworthy stability today, with most major currencies remaining unchanged and a slight increase in the US dollar rate.

According to "Bkam" data, the US dollar increased by 0.12% compared to yesterday, reaching 50.62 EGP for selling, while the buying rate stood at 49.92 EGP. Among the Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal remained stable at 13.31 EGP for buying and 13.5 EGP for selling, and the UAE dirham recorded 13.59 EGP for buying and 13.78 EGP for selling.

As for the Kuwaiti dinar, the buying rate was 161.81 EGP and the selling rate was 164.09 EGP, with the Jordanian dinar standing at 70.41 EGP for buying and 71.4 EGP for selling.

Regarding European currencies, the euro was priced at 57.57 EGP for buying and 58.38 EGP for selling, while the British pound registered 67.34 EGP for buying and 68.29 EGP for selling.

These movements are observed amid market monitoring of global and local economic developments as investors await any changes that might affect exchange rates in the coming period.
