Stability of Foreign Exchange Rates in Egypt Today
Foreign exchange rates in Egypt today, May 31, 2026, showed general stability with slight changes in some currencies. According to Bakam data, the USD was selling at 52.59 EGP and buying at 51.85 EGP, maintaining stability compared to yesterday.
The Saudi Riyal was recorded at 14.02 EGP for selling and 13.83 EGP for buying, while the Qatari Riyal registered 14.45 EGP for selling and 14.25 EGP for buying. The Kuwaiti Dinar maintained its rate at 170.07 EGP for selling and 167.71 EGP for buying.
Regarding the Euro, it stood at 61.3 EGP for selling and 60.45 EGP for buying, while the British Pound was at 70.72 EGP for selling and 69.73 EGP for buying. The UAE Dirham recorded 14.32 EGP for selling and 14.12 EGP for buying.
This stability in foreign exchange rates comes at a time when global markets are experiencing fluctuations, yet the Egyptian market has maintained relative balance. These rates are expected to remain stable in the coming days if current economic conditions persist unchanged.
